1. Why do educators need to be careful about terms like "Digital Native"?
Educators 9need to be carefull when using the term Digital Native because there is so many varying degrees of "Digital Natives". There are so many degrees because not everyone has the same exposure to technology.

When students are encourageed to transform their understanding of particular subjects to a multimodal text there is always a positive outcome.

The goal was to track the development of the participants multimodal literacies over a two year period, and comparing the first and the last products made.

The goal was to gain a deeper understanding of how multimodal texts were created, specifically when the students were working at computers in pairs.

The students who were selscted all studied the subject of Study of Society and the Environment (SOSE).

The students created two websites.

Which students worked collaboratively in pairs, had fully completed the task, and the video screen data recordings were intact and complete.

Working with a computer in pairs differs from using pencil and paper because you can do so much more on a computer and do things faster.

They all had different ideas when it came to what was a priority.

13. According the the conclusion of this study, what do student need to learn in order to successful complete a multimodal text construction?
Students need to develop their reflective and evaluation processes in relation to a task. Also they need to have traditional skills for sucessful task completion.
14. Are you surprised by the conclusions drawn in this study?
No because there is such a broad generalization for Digital Natives, and even though this was a study and the students only had an alloted amount of time some still didn't finish when they were supposed to. I think this is because of otrher factors in the students lives.
