1.Technoevangelists are advocates of something therefor I am not an advocate of technoskeptics.

2.Because digital native has such a broad time span and technology changes so much how is to say who are that digital natives.

3. A) Transmission model-one-size fits all mentality, assumes all knowledge can be disseminated to all learners regardless of individual differences and learning styles (5)

B) Interactionalist pedagogy is aligned with what Tapscott views as the requirements and opportunities of the digital age. (6)

4. A) Pedagogy-the function or work of a teacher; teaching

B) Luddities-a member of any of various bands of workers in England (1811–16) organized to destroy manufacturing machinery, under the belief that its use diminished employment.

C) Semiotic– of or pertaining to signs

D) Multimodality- an attribute or circumstance that denotes mode or manner

Digital natives are working in your organization today. They are solving business problems, building social network, and creating new processes, with or without your help or support.

Response:

I chose this quote because I completely agree. We, digital natives, are out there helping everyone including “technophobes” and “technoskeptics”. Because of the technology out there today we have new and easier ways of accessing information and using it to the best of our abilities. We use defined processes but are constantly creating new ones of our own, and there is resistance and negative feedback. The current generation is reinventing the workplace and society. The technophobes and skeptics need to embrace that the flow of knowledge goes both ways. If not some will be left behind.
